Charge your cameras tonight ladies.... Its going to be a good day!!

Ciao!! Today in Italy is a national holiday celebrating their choice of government after World War II. Many places in town were closed because of this, however, the people were everywhere!! This morning I went to go mail some letters! My friend Jackyn was suppose to go with me, but slept straight thru her alarm! While waiting I was people watching once again and I even tried to draw a little! Once i got some airmail stapes I headed to the post office and got to watch one of their many celebrations throughout the numerous Piazzas. After this I went to my favorite grocery store to get some laundry detergent! Let me tell you here they have to wash there clothes for 2:30 hours apparently in the machines here, and now everything is air drying! We also had a slight storm this afternoon! Today at class was a lot better than my first day, I am already improving!haha. Jaclyn is the best at making me understand what I am suppose to do!! She made me laugh the whole trip , I think i would be on my way home at some moments if it was not for her! I also walked to several stores in our area! I meet this lady who was super sweet and helped me try every letter jacket! She had been making Jackets for 23 years! I didn't but one yet , I am on the hunt for the perfect jacket! Right now at our apartment Blogging, drinking vino, and cooking dinner! Tomorrow is our day trip to the winery! I must say everyone is really excited, as one of the adults said I will be there but "I may not see you there!" It may be a long day! I wish i could share our view with you but I didn't bring my camera cord, so check out Jaclyn and Jennifer's blog!! We have so much planned for the next few weeks cooking class, hiking, Venice, maybe Verona and Paris! Have a great day!!

Just for the one and only Allie!!

SO... Allie told me I have to keep everyone updated on what is going on! Class was good, however, I lack the drawing Skills that everyone else has! I am going to improve however, Just call me Hannah the Artist! hahaha.. After Class Jaclyn Petty and I went to this store that has all this modern house stuff, it was a very cool store! After that we stopped at the store and grabbed our vino for dinner! At dinner, we cooked spaghetti and some tomatoes! Then Colleen Mattingly and Cortney Roberston sat with us while we all drank our vino and we ate! Now we are just hanging out at the apartment!! I Hope everything is going well at home! I am about to go read Dear John and head to bed! Everything is Well!! I Love you Allie and we go to the winery Thursday where the olive oil is!! I love you Skally, ps- I can see the moon now(Don't Hate)!! Have a great Week... I will write soon!!

Getting use to living in Florence

For the past few days we have had orientation to get use to the city and living like we are actually from Florence. We have learned to use the train station, how to live with no AC, some italian culture, and how to be very safe in this beautiful place. We have learned to shop in the market and small grocery stores. Tonight we are planning on cooking our first meal at home, this could be interesting since we do not cook and have had a hard time learning to work everything. the city is absolutely beautiful and we see much of it on our 25 minute walk from our apartment on Via Venezia, we are Building number four (You may be able to Google map it). We pass the academia and the Duomo on our way to meet everyone at the Piazza Della Signoria. Which is right near The H am M! hahaha, but don't worry this is not my main concern on this trip.haha. Our apartment is small and at the top of 105 , so we may not be at the gym but trust me it is a long way up at the end of the day. We got new neighbors yesterday that are from California! Oh did i mention we can see the Italian country side and mountains from our windows on the east side of our building, but i think that has a lot to do with how high we are up! Today we have our first class at 4, I hope I can actually fake being an artist and pick-up some skills!! On Thursday we are going to the Winery and I am very excited to see this place! We have finally arrived!!

We have just gotten into our apartments and trust me 9 flights of stairs with a 50 pound bag was not fun! We have an amazing view I tried to take a picture from my phone! However, our rooms are not as beautiful with all this white!! We are meeting at six to go have a group dinner! I will tell y'all when we start everything tomorrow! Price thanks for my necklace it has made a big difference and kept me happy everytime I feel it!

Tomorrow...

So tomorrow we finally leave, It seems like I have been waiting on this day all year long! I am super excited about starting this adventure, but I am not to excited about leaving Cleveland at 5:30 A.M. Everything is pretty much packed and ready to go. I have had a great past week or so hanging out with my friends and spending some qaulity time in the delta! We got to go to the lake and even rode some backroads!! I don't really have much to say right now, except I will write as soon as I get there. The first few days are orientation to get use to the city! I hope we pick everything up fast! On our way to Jackson  Jennifer and I practiced our Italian, we have alot to improve on but we really weren't that bad!Haha...  Have a great weekend and I will be on here again sometime! Waiting to head to Florence.....

Ralph Waldo Emerson said,“All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.” So as a small town girl I am about to experiment with the world around me!After a great weekend with my friends, celebrating Morgan's graduation, its finally starting to hit that I am about to head to Florence, Italy! He also stated that,“Every artist was first an amateur.”  I am about to start my on journey into my own artistic abilities, while being in a city filled with the most incredible artworks! I have gotten most of my art supplies (not that I would even know where to begin), but I am still waiting on some of them in the mail. Last night after going to see the movie Letters to Juliet, I have to admit that I got a little excited about being in a country with so much beauty and history! However, I have not even began to think about packing. Packing is the hard part because you never know what you need and I am a pack rat!!
